Abdoulaye Diallo

Market Analyst

Abdoulaye is in charge of structuring investment files for the accelerating company portfolio, as well as for the equity pipeline. He also works on research and monitoring of the Guinean market.

He gained his first professional experience at the Guinean Embassy in India (New Delhi), where he worked as a trainee assistant, supporting the consular and administrative services. His main task was to assist the consular service in the design and management of the database of Guinean nationals according to their categories (traders, students, patients, etc.), while at the same time assisting and orienting his compatriots on local laws and customs. He also assisted the embassy with verbal and written translation during meetings with local and Guinean economic operators. This experience led him to participate in the creation and sharing of a pipeline of local suppliers that could represent an opportunity for Guinean economic operators, and vice versa.

Amara Kouyaté

Seed Project Officer

Amara Kouyaté is Seed Project Officer at Gola Capital. He is based in Guinea.

Before joining Gola Capital, he held the positions of Credit Analyst at the Délégation Générale à l’Entreprenariat Rapide des Femmes et des Jeunes (DER/FJ), then Investment Analyst at the Fonds Souverain d’Investissement Stratégique (FONSIS). His professional career has led him to work in a variety of sectors, including agriculture, livestock, industry and the digital sector.

Amara holds a master’s degree in financial management from the Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion, as well as the International Certificate in Corporate Finance (ICCF) delivered by HEC Paris. He has a passion for finance and entrepreneurship.

Mouctar Bah

Managing Director

After graduating in management science from the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences in Rabat Agdal, Morocco, Mouctar Bah obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in market finance and risk analysis from the University of Montpellier in France.
He began his career in the banking sector, gaining initial experience at NSIA Bank in the Risk Department and at the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea in the Market Department and the Supervision of Credit Institutions Department.

Passionate about the world of entrepreneurship, he has been behind the creation of several SMEs and has extensive experience in operational and strategic consulting, as well as in structured financing.

Mouctar has also worked with some of Guinea’s biggest traders and merchants in a wide range of sectors, including petroleum products, pharmaceuticals, furniture and agro-industry.

Lastly, he has taken part in several restructuring and merger & acquisition operations in Asia, the Middle East and West Africa, for a dozen Guinean companies with over USD 20 million in equity and cumulative sales of over USD 200 million.

Tomy Haba

Accountant

Tomy is in charge of structuring investment files for the accelerating company portfolio. Given his experience in accounting, he also monitors and records accounting transactions.

After graduating in 2020 with a Master’s degree in auditing and accounting from the Institut de Commerce et de Gestion des Entreprises de Guinée, ISCAE-G, the country’s most prestigious business school, he began his career as an accounting assistant at LOG@FRIQ, a local SME, where he was responsible for recording accounting operations, monitoring cash transactions, budget management, and editing and archiving accounting documents and vouchers.

He also had the opportunity to spend some time at Grant Thornton Guinea, as a junior auditor, where he worked on audit assignments for well-known companies such as Winning Consortium Simandou Ports (WCSP), the Mandiana exploration company, INSUCO SIMANDOU, MANAGUINEE and RIO TINTO.

Zézé Oyé Koivogui

Senior Investment Manager

An avid finance enthusiast, his academic background initially enabled him to acquire a first degree in financial management and accounting from Morocco’s prestigious Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion in 2018.

After graduating, he automatically had the opportunity to be recruited by the prestigious firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he began his career in the audit department. He stayed there for almost 3 years, rising through the ranks to become a senior financial auditor, before moving on to Grant Thornton Guinea, still as a senior financial auditor. Along the way, he had the opportunity to work on a number of audit assignments for big names such as ORABANK GUINEE, ECOBANK, BSIC, UBA and BPMG in the banking sector, as well as for companies operating in the industrial sector (SOBRAGUI, COPEOL), the mining sector (SMM, WCS) and logistics services (Conakry Terminal, Aden services…).

After working as a financial auditor for just over 4 years, he decided to move on to new horizons by joining MBM CAPITAL (the first Guinean company to structure innovative financing tools such as financial derivatives and private equity) as an investment officer.

Since November 2022, it has been responsible for the deployment of investment operations for accelerating companies, as well as the operational deployment of technical assistance for portfolio SMEs.
